Custom inline fuse holders?

Okay, so I'm cheap... but I also like doing things right.

Looking online, for a 0/1 gauge wire, an inline fuse is $40 bucks a piece.

Does anyone know a way to make home made inline fuse holders...? For preferably less than $40 that doesn't look like sh*t, and more importantly not perform like sh*t.

copper pipe put wire in one end smash down solder do what you have to to make it secure. smash the other side down drill a hole in it. Do the same on the other side of the wire. Nut and bolt the fuse to the 2 pieces of copper pipe. cover in electrical tape

and I haven't even bought the 0/1 wire yet. My whole system is run off of a 2AWG from my bat with like a 50 amp circuit breaker on it.
