Custom Impala Box's

I have an 03 Impala LS, and i am installing my new system in it slowly but shut=rely.. and i am now down to the subs, and i am just stuck... I had a tempory sub box in there, and it was clunky and just did not fit the rest of the custom install i did on my car. If anyone is familiar with the impala trunk, there aew two wells in the rear of the trunk; Just behuind the tires, and b4 the bumper... I was thinking bout making some custom box's with fiberglass and MDF, but i am not sure if i will have enough FT^3? I want to be able to make other cars next to me rattle. WIll this still be able to be acomplished with the Fiberglass/Mdf box?I do not have too much room to work with, b/c i have my tools for work in my trunk. Any help with a design, or shuld i stick to a clunky box?

Well waht can i say.. you guys really let me down here... i ended up getting some new box. It is huge and takes up atleast half of my gigantic trunk... I AM NOT PLEASED WITH THE BOX, BUT IT DOES THE JOB. still looking for ideas though.... thanks

Ya I'm glad that you are not pleased with us. People are here to help out where they can. If it makes you feel better I could lie to you as could everyone else.

Just put some fiberglass in that hole, and then a 10" Sony Xplod and you'll kill the competition.......

thanks but no thanks on the 10 in deal... i appreciate the words of wisdome on the forum, and thanks for not lying to me on those box's... But I have some diamond MC312D's, and i hardely think the sony xplode will beat them... thanks...

OK I was joking about the Xplod, but i'm sure you caught on to that.

Sorry that nobody helped you out, but I couldn't even guess how big the spot is that your talking about. If you measure it out, maybe you'll be able to calculate it.

why not post a pic of the space you have to work with and the sub pics and all the info on the subs then maybe we could help
