Custom High Output Alternators (please help)

ok i have a 1997 Nissan PICKUP KING CAB XE 4X4 and i cant seem to find an alternator for it above 60 amp i need at least a 120amp or so alt. can some one please help me ive bin serching but havnt bin able to find 1. if u know of any places that build cutom alternators tha would be great to.

Ok, i was in the same boat not too long ago. But after talking to a few people out there (Ohio Generators) (H.O Alternators) I contacted Nathan over at excessive amperage and after talking to him for about good 30 minutes we came to the conclusion that an alternator from a 240sx '94 (Hitachi brand which is an 80 amp alt) would fit and will bolt on if the front casing and pulley were exchanged.

I then proceded to ask how much can he rewind the alt to get more amperage and he advised that he could get it to go up as high as 180 amps. he then quoted me $260.00 shipped. so now i am just waiting for it to arrive and we will see how things run.

the other companies i've mentioned at the top of this post wanted to charge up to $650 for a 200 or 300 amp alternator that when installed the bracket and the plugs will need to be moded for it to fit.

$650 for an alternator? thats just insane! I posted on a topic not too long ago that I was going to order my alt from excessive amperage and then some one posted a bad expirience with Nathan's products, but he reasured me that if there are any problems he will replace the alt at no cost to me. We went over everthing that could go wrong and mainly most of the things were either due to user error, bad batteries to start with, wrong gauge size and incorrect fused cabling.

ontopic if you go on ebay and search for the iraggi alternators, every model he sells I'm pretty sure is on there
