Need a custom enclosure 'roundabout 1 CUFT for a 12" FI Q for my 2006 Acura TL. If anybody knows where to get/order one, then please let me know.

I would even purchase from somebody who makes them if they have pictures and stuff.

Thanks

You are asking where you can buy a 'prefab' enclosure, not a 'custom' one. I know prefab is a naughty word these days (and not completely justifiable), but that does not mean you can exchange the word for 'custom' simply to imply you are looking for a high quality enclosure.

I dont mean to single you out, a lot of people make the same mistake here all the time.

I am pretty sure that there are no prefab ones to be found. I have found a few places online that will make one with a 3 week lead time and whatever I want in finish (carpet, paint, carbon fiber, etc.) and cubic feet up to 1.5. I guess that they have trunk molds of the cars from doing one of these before. I was just going to see if there were any suggestions about good shops before I took a shot with an unknown.

My bad about the terminology if we need to argue over opinions and semantics. I thought for sure that when you have something made-for-you with choices of finish, size, wire location, etc. so that yours is unique (at least could be) that custom was the right term.

The only local shop in town that will make one wants $1000 (and up) with a W6 - they won't make one otherwise and I don't want a W6.

Best bet would be to find someone in your area that is good with fiberglass and maybe they can do it on the side for you for a couple bucks, shops always charge alot for this type of stuff.

You are correct that when broken down to this degree, it is semantics. But prefab stands for prefabricated, which your box would be. Plenty of companies make prefabricated fiberglass enclosures built for specific vehicles. But again I agree, its just a discussion over terminology, which is not very important. I didnt expect my original comment to be taken in any regard beyond this.
