custom box 2.5-3.0 cf

thinking about building a new sub box around 2.5-3.0 cf for 1 sub sealed what's ur opinions is this box too large i really dont want a 2 sub set-up

Deffinitly too large for a single CVR. Try 1.5-2 cubes max...

i'd do it in an HT setaup, but in a car they just dont have evough output in those large boxes

I am going with 2 cf @ 36hz with mine. 12 kicker cvr as well. I could let you know how it sounds. the recommended specs for a ported enclosure for that driver are between 1.75 and 2.25CF, so as long as you land in that range, you should be fine.
