I'm building custom amp racks on each side of my trunk...facing each other. I was going to build a base for each amp to sit on and to run all the wires and then build a cover to make them partially flush mounted to hide the wires and what not. I willl be carpeting both amp rack covers and my sub box.
What I'm alittle unsure of is how I can make the covers removable so I can get to the amps to make adjustments?? I don't want to have an screws through the carpet or anything. But at the same time I want the covers to be firmly attached to the amp racks.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this while still keeping the install very clean?? Pics or suggestions would be greatly appreciated....thanks.
