Got all my parts in today. Im using ID CX62 mids and BG Neo3 planar tweeters. Im thinking of crossing around 2.5Khz but Ill do some testing first. I only have one picture so far because Im busy until the weekend for the install. For now Im mounting the mids IB in the stock locations and tweeters in custom sails.

What r u using for eq/x-over, and what r u powering them with?

For now Im using a memphis amp for the mids that will do 150x2 and running the tweets off the HU until I find a nice 25x2 amp. They only need 10-15 so Ill be ok. For processing Im using my Alpine 9855. I want to pick up some PPI Art amps but dont have the funds. Might be yours, if not you have a similar name to guy that has them.

Yea I've got a pair that I was thinking about selling, but I really hate to part w/ them. I have a hard time letting things go so I'll probably end up keeping them until I get time to install everything. I still have to figure out what will handle the eq/x-over duties...thats why I was asking. niice, i just picked up some cx62s, and im going to run them active with a set of rainbow cal25 tweets, with an alpine 7998 as the processor. i havent run them yet, but i cant wait to try them out. i also plan on crossing then around 2.5k as well. i have 140x2 going to the mids and 70x2 going to the tweets via rf power 501bd. what do you have for a substage?

Right now nothing. I have an amp coming in (Orion 2500D) and am thinking about two 12/15s or 1 18.

Well I broke my jasper jig while working on the rings, so Im going to have to make a new one before I can do anything else.

Well, I found out a lot of things that wont work in my car such as fiberglass pods from the stock locations. So for now I just mounted them in the stock spots w/o the grills in. I got a couple pictures that Im about to upload. Then Im going to get some wire and Im gonna wire the mids up.

Well I just finished with the mids and temporarily mounted the tweeters. I need to mess with some settings and fiberglass pods on the sails tomorrow. Here are some pics. One showing my method for pulling wires through molex plugs and one of the pass. temp. install.
