My custom 12" recone kit from @SPLaudio arrived today!! HFI3000d on the way, and will be building a box and doing the recone next week. Can not wait! Will post up pics when it's done.

Any box size suggestions etc? Was thinking 2-2.2cu.ft with about 30sq. in. of port and at 32Hz? Sounds good?

yup fair call I guess it doesn't have any t/s specs and I didn't say much. Built off a Soundstream t4 12 motor, 1500 watts, really tight coil gap and apparently quite a strong motor so should have a high BL, hard to say much else about it though. Hmm, Corey would probably be able to give you a strong recommendation but I would say maybe in the neighborhood of 2 cubes at whatever tuning the sub is build around. He builds mine to have a low Fs so I always tune around 28-29 but idk what suspension/cone he used for yours and I don't know a ton about the motors power.

his should be pretty eff and have a lower fs, single stiff spider and copper coil for mass.

2cf would be a good mix for this woofer.

glad it showed up first international shipping besides canada but thats no biggie...

Cheers man, it looks like it will make a bloody nice sub. 2cf it is then!
