I think I'm ready to buy another head unit, but since the 860 is no longer available, I want to get something thats comparable. I had the 880, and I just don't want to go that route again. Also, I want to stay with the pioneer (or primier) brand. Let me know whats out there. Thx, Vic. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

P9 Combo-LOL

The 9800BT/P980BT or 7800BT/P780PT but you are going to loose a couple features the 880 offered.

Thats looks to be about it if you want something similiar to an 880/860 combination.

I wont be going active, so thats not a problem. I'll have to look into the others that were posted up. Thx guy. Do any of you have any experiance with any of the 9800BT/P980BT or 7800BT/P780PT?

Its the 9800BT/980BT or 7800MP/780MP (not BT... the 7800/780 is the 9800/980 without the BT)....

It really comes down to what options you are going to use and not going to use. The only other difference besides the extra year warranty on the 980BT is the Auto-EQ and the L/R seperation I believe. Neither were of any use to me since I'm not using the EQ because I'm running an Audio Control DQXS/DDC so I went with the 9800BT. Definetly the route to go for amazing SQ with the 24 Bit Burr-Brown on the deck and the 24 Bit DSP + AD/DA on the DQXS with 142 different EQ filters (Graphic and Parametric).

If you don't have access to a RTA or don't know how to set an EQ or aren't going to have external processing the Auto-EQ feature might be good though.

To give you an idea of what i'm running in my truck, it's 2 sets of RE 6.5 comps pushed by an Orion 800/4, and an RL-p 18" with an Orion 2500d. HO alt, 2 redtops, an lots of 0awg, lol. I wont be using an RTA, external eq's, processors, etc. I was good using the 13band eq from the deck, and high/low pass settings as well. Thx for all the help & info guys. It really helps to hear from people that have used them. It's one thing to read about these things, but another to get first hand help as well.

They also make a 7900/790bt. if you dont need bluetooth then the 7800/780 would be a good choice. They arent making that one anymore so you have to get one off ebay or the forums used.

Cant agree with you there. You left out the ODR and M88s. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I was thinking of a little less expensive decks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif
