No, let's do like you did when defending Biden. You went back to years that would support your argument. I will as well. Take 1980 for example.

It's odd that people are aware that you have to adjust for inflation to get n accurate comparison, but suddenly forget to adjust for inflation when it doesn't support the narrative. Adjusted for inflation, I'm paying ~$1.60 less per gallon than under King Biden's reign. But that doesn't matter because Trump is responsible for the spike in gas prices during Biden's reign. And I'm sure that Trump was given credit when gas prices dropped in '23-24.

The annual inflation rate in the US jumped to 3.3% in March 2026, marking the highest level since May 2024 and a sharp increase from 2.4% in both February and January. Figures came in line with forecasts, with the rise primarily driven by higher energy costs (12.5%), mostly gasoline (up 18.9%) and fuel oil (44.2%), due to the war with Iran. On the other hand, prices for used cars and trucks continued to decline (-3.2% vs -3.2%) while inflation steadied for shelter (3% vs 3%) and eased for food (2.7% vs 3.1%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.9%, the largest increase since June 2022, following a 0.3% gain in February and also in line with forecasts, boosted by a 21.2% jump in gas prices. Meanwhile, core inflation which excludes food and energy, also picked up though much more moderately, to an annual rate of 2.6%, compared to forecasts of 2.7%. On a monthly basis, core consumer prices increased by 0.2%, below expectations of 0.2%. source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

I'm confused. How does this prove King Trump is a pedo???

It's odd that people simply make sh!t up to support their narrative, when their bullsh*t is so easy to expose.

Average price by year, regular formulation.

Show us your source that says the US average price for gas is $3.07 a gallon today. Or $3.07 a gallon for even the past 30 days. Maybe try the past YEAR.
And my number is based on the HIGHEST while Biden was in office, derived from the higher end of the average.

Hmm, $3.70 in 2022 is $4.12 today.

$4.12-$3.70 = $1.60 in MAGA land.

Explain the math how the price in Colorado today is $1.60 less than the inflation-adjusted peak in 2022.
Your math isn't mathing very well.

Easy there guy. When we, I, others on this forum were complaining about how high gas prices were under Biden, what did you do? Is your memory failing or is it selective bias? Do you not remember when you were telling us it is a cup of coffee as you down played how much more we spent on gas?

"If you look at the chart, it doesn’t have to be 40 years ago. It can be any point in the 40 year timeline. The FACT is that over any points in time over the past 40 years, the real price per gallon is not radically different.
The 2021 real price per gallon is only 13 CENTS more than when you were delivering pizza during the Trump admin.
If you burned 50 gallons a week, that’s $6.50 per week more in 2021 than 2016.
A cup of Starbucks crappy coffee. In a whole week.
If a cup of coffee per week is life altering, then gas prices are likely the least of your worries.

And once again, you’re complaining about prices of a product that have been trending DOWN over decades.
Knowledge is power. You should get some.

It's a cup of cheap Starbucks coffee a week. STFU.
