Current events discussion

You lied, I am telling the truth. I said, past tense, those things. I do not continue to say them as your words would indicate. Details matter. I do not beat women.
You've done it, and there's no proof you don't still do, or won't do it again.

More, you haven't said anything? I said what do you have a specific problem with. Ok, let us go with the lack of transparency as you put it. They are literally telling you everything they are doing. How is that not transparent.
Was each point not specific enough?
They haven't told us anything other than "we found fraud". Their word means as much to me as yours.
Show me the detailed audit documentation.
Let your fingers do the walking.

Twitter posts are not a detailed accounting of the audit and what they found.

But then again, you think spending $100 to save $1,000 is a waste of money. What would you know about an audit?

Waltz would wipe the floor with Trump in a comparison of capabilities, though that's not saying much. So could one of my teen relatives.

"Tampon Tim". Likely meant to be a pejorative, yet I bet your daughter would have been happy if she was sitting in class bleeding, and no one had a feminine product to give her, but she could run to the restroom and get one.

People like Tim try to help others.
People like Trump try to **** others.
Did he get school lunches abolished yet?
She wouldn't be happy about going to the boy's room for that tampon.

The big reason Trump would crush Walz, is simply because Walz is a bytch. Walz wasn't just a bytch, but he was Kamala's bytch. I think most of us are looking for a leader, not a bytch who is confused about "what is a woman?"

Trump hasn't started WW3 yet.
Trump hasn't surrendered Ukraine to the Russians yet.
Trump hasn't collapsed the economy yet.
Trump hasn't invaded Greenland or Canada yet.
Trump hasn't declared himself permanent Supreme leader yet.
Trump hasn't shut down Medicare or SS yet.
Trump hasn't kicked off the ***** Genocide yet.
Trump hasn't stripped women of their rights yet.
Trump hasn't re-enacted Jim Crow yet.

But we're sure it's all coming down the pike. Trump 48!!!!

Done what Rob? Said things in the past? Yes, I have.

No, it wasn't. That was more like you complaining.

I gave you a link to the DOGE.gov website where they are literally being transparent with anyone, left or right, who wants to see exactly what they are doing and you point out an error... really, a mistake? Or was it an alleged mistake and you guys on the left just can't stop complaining and making shit up to cry about.

She wouldn't be happy about going to the boy's room for that tampon.
Who said they were in boys rooms? And why would she be going in the boys room to get them?
Is this part of your deep hatred for LBGTQ?
The wording of the law: the products must be available “to all menstruating students in restrooms regularly used by students.”

Nice try. Trump couldn't hold a candle to Waltz in something as simple as a press conference. Trump can't even read cue cards correctly, much less speak extemporaneously without making a fool of himself.
For **** sake, the man screwed up a speech about the revolutionary war.
Airports? REALLY?

Trump hasn't started WW3 yet.
Give it time.
Trump hasn't surrendered Ukraine to the Russians yet.
He's trying to.
Trump hasn't collapsed the economy yet.
He did I'd once, and it's already leaning that way again.
Trump hasn't invaded Greenland or Canada yet.
Yet. He'd love to, and will if Congress lets him.
Trump hasn't declared himself permanent Supreme leader yet.
Probably will once he has broken every law possible, and been absolved by SCOTUS, or president Musk.
Trump hasn't shut down Medicare or SS yet.
DOGE is working on that for him.
Trump hasn't kicked off the ***** Genocide yet.
They're already changing laws to strip ***** people of protections they are afforded.
Trump hasn't stripped women of their rights yet.
I guess you missed that whole Roe v. Wade thing. It was big in the news.
Trump hasn't re-enacted Jim Crow yet.
Little by little. Start by removing anti-discrimination laws. Move on to eliminating DEI initiatives. Next up: bring back segregation.
But we're sure it's all coming down the pike. Trump 48!!!!
They're pushing that no sense too.
I guarantee if it happens, someone in this country will go postal. Hell, his own sycophants are already trying crazy shit.

Tampon Tim got his nickname for putting tampons in the boys restroom. Pretty crazy, right?

Trump's public speaking is just fine.

No, he got that nickname because Stephen Miller coined it, and a bunch of low-IQ lemming Republicans jumped on the bandwagon.

What is kind of ironic, is that Stephen Miller looks like the closeted kid that homophobes would kick the shit out of in school, in decades past, just because they assumed he was gay.

Here's the full text of the law that most Trump sycophants probably aren't capable of reading, and the ones who are can't comprehend what they are reading:

21A.212 ACCESS TO MENSTRUAL PRODUCTS.

A school district or charter school must provide students with access to menstrual products at no charge. The products must be available to all menstruating students in restrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12 according to a plan developed by the school district. For purposes of this section, "menstrual products" means pads, tampons, or other similar products used in connection with the menstrual cycle.

Please copy and paste it into your response, and highlight where it says girls will have to go into boys bathrooms to get the products.
Please highlight where it says they will be put in boys bathrooms.
Please highlight where it specify ANY specific bathrooms, other than ones used by students.

Abusing women is more than just "saying things".
No, it wasn't. That was more like you complaining.

What they're posting on that website is tweets. That's not a full accounting of their work.
If they tweeted they were sending every US citizen a $5 million check tomorrow, would you be watching your mailbox every day waiting for the check to arrive?
I want to see the proof of their audit of trillions of dollars that was done in days.

And don't give me this "they are working on it" bullshit.
If they can audit trillions of dollars in a few days, they sure as **** can redact what is necessary and post it to their website immediately.

"Alleged mistake" where he posts the screenshot of the tweet from DOGE showing $8M while DOGE claims $8B?

Man, you WILL say anything to deny all of the failings of Trump and his sycophants, huh?
The man will lie, and you will defend it even when he's caught in the lie.

Tell me all about how life was going to get cheaper the day he got into office. Suddenly when that doesn't happen, it's a claim that it's much more difficult than expected, and that it may take some time, and we may have to go through some hardships first, and if we want eggs we should raise our own chickens.
What an incredible crock of shit, and what a piece of shit he is.

But Republicans appear to be taking issue with the wording of the legislation, which says the products must be available “to all menstruating students in restrooms regularly used by students.”

Some Minnesota Republicans initially tried to limit the initiative to female-assigned and gender-neutral bathrooms, but were unsuccessful. Even the author of that amendment ultimately voted for the final version of the bill, saying his family members “felt like it was an important issue I should support.”

The bill’s inclusive language reflects that not all people who menstruate are women, and not all women get periods, which was important to those who lobbied for the legislation.

“It will make it more comfortable for everyone … then people can use whatever restroom they want without being worried,” Bramwell Lundquist, then 15, told MPR News last year.

What disturbs them so much about that wording?
It clarifies that the funding is for student restrooms, not teachers lounge restrooms, not general public restrooms.

I fail to see where the wording of the law specifies the products must go into a specific restroom.

It says "menstruating".
Are the Republicans afraid a non-menstruating person might attempt to use the products and get injured?
Are they afraid the availability of the products will cause people without a uterus to menstruate?
Are they upset the law mentions menstruation, which is a dirty word tgat kids shouldn't see?
Are they afraid kids will see feminine hygiene products?

The panic makes no sense whatsoever.

Apparently, it's illegal to not buy a Tesla if you're a democrat.
I wonder what the punishment is for breaking that law. A free Cybershitbox?

Remember when "Trump marked Christmas 2023 with a social media post lumping “All Electric Car Lunacy” in with a number of political enemies that he said “are looking to destroy our once great USA. MAY THEY ROT IN HELL.” ?

I guess the carmakers didn't pay him off to be their friend like Leon did.

Exactly, the language is vauge and I think we both know why it's written the way it is and why they refused to specify girls bathrooms.
