Nope. They didn't make the claim Trump was shot in his ear lobe. Trump made the claim.

He also made the claim that Biden and Harris's rhetoric are the cause of the assassination attempt.
Do you think he is accurate about that claim?
“Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out,” Trump said in comments to Fox News Digital.

He also said he "probably took a bullet to the head".
"I probably took a bullet to the head because of the things that they say about me. They talk about democracy. I'm a threat to democracy. They're the threat to democracy,"
Really? Confused about what his ear lobe is, and what his head actually is. Scary.

Of course, we have his suggestion that reporters should be shot while he hides behind bulletproof glass. What a classy guy to have as POTUS:
“I have this piece of glass here,” he said. “But all we have really over here is the fake news. And to get me, somebody would have to shoot through the fake news. And I don’t mind that so much.”
Come on Rob. Show some integrity and stop trying to beat around the fact Trump was shot. If he wasn't shot, the news would be reporting it as lie, but you're the only one saying he wasn't shot.

You said that you will be willing to admit when you misspoke. Do better research and you'll see he was shot. I showed you pictures and even pointed out how your picture proved he was shot. Below are videos of dems admitting it. You know darn well AOC would be taunting the injury as being fake if it was. Even CNN talks about it being real. It's just you saying it's not.

Every Major NEWS outlet states he was shot. The FBI states he was shot. Did I mention EVERY NEWS outlet stands by the fact he was shot?

It's an ego thing. He has one though he really shouldn't. He thinks he is not fallible or just really thinks we are dumb people who don't deserve to hear that he is wrong. I bet in his personal life, if he has people he associates with, he has made sure they are less educated than he is so he can boost that ego and feel superior.

The 556 tends to tumble and shatter at close range (~150 yards or less iirc) and tends to punch straight thru for the next few 100 yards and then starts tumbling again.
Immediately thought of that video of a rotating object in the ISS that would rotate almost perfectly on axis for a bunch of rotations, do a 180 and rotate on axis again, then flip back. Rinse and repeat.

I just want to throw this out there. I don't think anyone is debating that the projectile isn't exactly the same however the cartridge as a whole (case and projectile together) is what I am arguing. Placing the projectile in the 5.56 NATO spec casing is what then makes the cartridge different than the .223 Remington. I know Rob likes to assume everyone is talking about what is literally in his head and his terminology and the way he sees it. This will hopefully have everyone on the same page. It is the case that makes the cartridges different. The exact same projectile, two different ammos. This means definitively that they ARE different.

The extra grain of powder in the 5.56 and the resulting increase in pressure is what makes it different.
The cartridge doesn't change the pressure, it just allows for more.

Load the 5,56 and the .223 for the same pressure, and they are the same for all intents and purposes.
You can run a 5.56 in a .223 all day long if it's packed for the right pressure (~55k psi).

Wrong, wrong, wrong again Rob the Bot.

You can keep repeating this same shit over and over. We aren't discussing the ifs Rob. When loaded to spec they are different. Just shut up already.

I'll tell you what Slapper: If the argument against every fact that I post here is going to be that it's "fake news", or "faked statistics", or "faked history" dating back up to 3/4 of a century, then there's no ******* way I'm going to believe a 78 year old man lost a chunk of his ear to a bullet, and that chunk miraculously grew back and healed without a trace of injury in a few weeks.

Pardon the run-on paragraph.

Wrong, wrong, wrong again Rob the Bot.
Repetition doesn't make truth, no matter how hard you try.
Not that Hornady has any experience with ammo, but this is what they have to say about it: "the fact that a 5.56 NATO chamber has a .125” longer throat. This allows approximately one more grain of powder to be loaded into a 5.56 NATO cartridge; this is what gives it higher performance than its 223 Remington cousin"

Maybe you should contact them and let them know the error of their ways.
Perhaps they'd hire you as their in-house expert advisor.

"Loaded to spec". What is the "spec" load for a 5.56 intended to be used in a rifle chambered for .223 ?
