The history books are gonna call them biden's number 😂 I'd really like to who's all calling shots tbh
Agreed! I felt like I kinda had to put the last 4 years on Kamala since hypothetically, the VP should be in charge when the POTUS is incapacitated. Who knows who was really in charge.

After watching her campaign implode like it did...I doubt she could run a buffet let alone a country 🙈

You defined it as being bred to work. All species have evolved to work, even simple lifeforms like bacteria must work. Nobody is forcing me to work, working part of surviving. Unless you're suggesting that my "normal" state of existence should be to just lounge around and do nothing at all.
Dude, this is retarded. It feels like you're trolling. Intentionally bred to do specific work and evolution from nature are 2 separate things.

Yeah we shouldn't even bother shutting the primary pipeline fentanyl precursors...
50 years of a "drug war", and what have we achieved?
We all agree that curbing gun violence will not be achieved by getting rid of guns, yet we think we we'll cure drug addiction by telling China to stop illegally sending fentanyl our way?
Because they listened to us when we tried it in 2018?
Growth in what? MFG jobs, imports, exports, GDP, overall employment???

I didn't cite a trend, I cited jobs lost, which you're now trying to twist and distort into a discussion about trends in an attempt to discredit me. Clearly you misinterpreted the trend as growth in MFG jobs trended back up after Covid. And TrumpCo attempt to "equalize" our trade arrangement with China, we'll see MFG jobs continue to grow. Again all credit to the Biden administration for not reversing the tariffs.
I think we've brought it all up, but we were most recently talking about exports for the chart that a trend line was drawn, as represented by a chart each one of us posted. I probably said jobs instead of exports when the chart said exports(?)

The reversal for exports happened in Q2 of 2018 (WHEN did he impose tariffs on imports? Q2 of 2018. Coincidence?) and lasted almost 2 years until COVID hit, so we can't blame COVID. We are using numbers that take COVID out of the equation.

I'm not sure why we can't assume a two-year-long downward trend would have continued, but you feel we should assume the downward trend would have simply reversed again, and skyrocketed for 2020.
Again: TAKE COVID OUT OF THE EQUATION. Take Trump's numbers from 2017 (which followed the already-existing upward trend) to the point of reversal, to the COVID crush. Stop right before the COVID crush.
Now take Biden's numbers from where all that was lost to COVID was regained.

This means Trump gets no blame for the COVID decline, and Biden gets no credit for the COVID recovery.
When you do that, the numbers favor Biden's performance by a LONG shot.

So if you bracket the peaks and the troughs, what performance do you see from the point when he enacted tariffs, until COVID hit?
Not only did a decline start in early 2018, but by mid -2018 it completely left the channel and continued down before COVID knocked it WAY down.
Ditch COVID, and pick up Biden right where Trump left off. Call it the "blip". What kind of growth do you see?

Because this time the tariffs are stated as being in response to illegal immigration...immagration is something Trudeau is under fire from even his own party for in Canada
He used the same reason back in 2018.
So Trudeau is under fire for illegal immigrants coming here, or into Canada?
If Canada, how does us paying more for the products we buy convince Canada to improve their own border protection?
Remember: Countries are trying to keep illegals OUT, not their own citizens (or illegals) IN.

That's all great, but WTF does exports have to do with Trump's tariffs? Biden kept Trump's tariffs in place. Could it be that exports increased because the MFG plants built here increased output, but those plants wouldn't have existed without the tariffs in the first place?

Those FRED charts are problematic because they are goods & services. That's why I used the PDF tables, as that's the place I found the data with goods only. That said, I wouldn't mind to see tariffs on services either. It'd be great to talk to an American for tech support or customer service again.

You didn't say it, you just introduced the idea??? Okay.
You know what I mean asshat. I didn't claim we were bred, that's what the tablets say. I'm not making up some false claim like I'm inventing it. I'm telling you what the tablets and other things also say like ancient Egypt story of human creation. You're a joke of a mind, how stupid you make this and trivial bullshit, people like you make any real progress and conversation impossible. What a ******* waste of time. I mean if you can't seriously understand what I'm saying you're an absolute moron, like if you can't grasp this simple concept after I've explained it to you in like 6 posts or whatever very simply. I don't feel you're that dumb based on your other posts. If you're not being serious then quit wasting my time.

It was certainly implied not only here, but in the past that you believe this stuff. I haven't been insulting or anything, I'm just pointing out that you're trying to make a point (that we're slaves) based on a presupposition that I don't accept (that aliens bred us to be worker bees).

But you're just dragging me along and commenting on it and not being straightforward. You asked how are we slaves and I explained and you just keep dragging it on and on like I'm not being direct. Believe what you want, I was just trying to honestly and clearly answer your ******* question you asked me. It's not a presupposition, it's just explaining a story about how humanity came to be based on what several ancient civilizations wrote about, took time to explain and record in great detail. It's not an assumption; it's what was written thousands of years ago. That's all I'm saying, like not trying to be tricky. They actually said what I'm saying, I'm not making up my version of it.

Are they really trying to keep illegals OUT? Poland is trying to keep illegals out. In the US, you can enter illegally and just claim asylum if your caught - in essence making all immigration legal. Immigration is problem in the west right now and many countries are doing little to nothing prevent illegal immigration. And if I'm Canada (or Mexico), what do I care if illegals enter the country when I know their ultimate destination is the US?
