But where negotiations start and where they finish are two different things.

Yes I do want intellectual honesty. Pre-Covid spending ~$4.8t/yr, 2024 budget 7.1t/yr and projected to grow and you want to blame the tax cuts. Rail against tax cuts all you want. Hell, I don't even want Trump to cut taxes, but clearly the problem is out of control spending not out of control tax cuts. And IMHO, we have small window here to reign in spending before inflation alone becomes unmanagable.

lol, definitely going to need a source for this graph....considering it looks like it was created in MS Paint by Hannity.

Well maybe if your beloved Democrats didn't make the cost of living so ridiculous for the majority they wouldn't need a living wage so high that businesses go under. How stupid are you. Does math only work for you if YOU want to make a point but not for real world applications?
With every word you post, you reduce your apparent IQ by points.
The cost of living has gone up since they figured out what a COL even IS, and that means during Democrat or your beloved Republican administrations.

But since you think you are so smart, name a business that can sell their products for less than they pay to produce them.

Expand the concept and explain an economy where all businesses operate at a loss, while the people prosper.

Amazing how when I make a valid ******* point the only come back you can muster is I am getting more stupid with each post. You clown.

That is your argument with another member, not me.

Again, your argument with another member.

Explain to me why two meals at McDonalds has to cost $25+
Or a Mocha Madness has to cost over $8 a Tropical Smoothie Cafe?
It's ok though... Trump is doing his job. I just paid $2.37 a gallon for gas.

You not accepting anything from anyone is not lack of support for an argument. It's you being a **** and ignoring shit just so you can argue. You a ******* man-child.
Your lack of support for your arguments is lack of support.

In the grown-up world, "because I said so", "because Trump said so", "I asked my friend who talked to their sister whose doctor said so", are not proofs of anything.

Your history here is to make claims and statements, then simply fail to prove them.

I just proved it with a very partial list of them, that you have yet to prove.
Something in your reply was about "you don't tell ME what to do", and thus failed to prove anything yet again
Wash, rinse, repeat.

He only cares about tv prices...not the threat China poses
It's funny that we used to make our own TV's, Levi's, etc. Remember they days when amplifiers were made here? Look at the SI SQL subs from the other thread - we certainly can compete in the market. I wonder if this is part of the other philosophy/mentality that's infected the woke liberals - the belief that America is the bad guy (ie systemic racism) and any and everything that is wrong is somehow "our" fault. The belief that we cannot possibly produce our own goods seems to be a variation of this belief. They think our trade deficit is the function of some sort of systemic flaw rather the result of a series of poor choices much like they view minority incarceration rates as a systemic flaw rather than the result of poor choices.

Kinda typical of liberals - they seem to consistently view problems as a the fault of a some sort of external force (ie evil white rich guys, the patriarchy, etc). OTOH, (many) conservatives tend to want more freedom and believe in personal choice & responsibility, although there also exists a conservative welfare class.

Fair enough. Do a google lens search for that image you'll find that graph and numerous variations of that graph all over the place. I got it from here (with a bunch of other MS Paint pics). You can verify the underlying graphs/data from FRED.

Did YOU just use the phrase... wash.... rinse... repeat? Really? Tell me what arguments you have been able to support. None, because you don't answer questions you can't Google.
