You have zero proof that most Americans were racist at any time, so what makes your think you can make that claim? Because you believe it's true is not proof. If segregation and the underlying racism were not the values of the majority of Americans, then the Civil War all the way to the fight for civil rights would not have happened.
Tell me I'm wrong.
Tell me that all of America was against racism, but we somehow had racist laws on the books until the 1960s.
Mass hypnosis, perhaps?
Can you tell me where in the Democrat platform they are pushing for gov't-owned grocery stores?
Go back as far as Biden's first bid, if you need to.
Because he's an idiot. For a more concrete example, how long were sodomy laws in place, way past when sodomy became common practice? Or take abortion for example, where we have different laws and beliefs across the land. And just because Texas outlawed abortion doesn't mean a significant number of people in Texas don't think it should be legal. You have zero proof that most Americans were racist at any time, so what makes your think you can make that claim? Rob has a hard time understanding nuanced positions and even more difficulty accepting he's wrong about something. So you and I could have a discussion about traditional values and be largely in agreement as to what those values do or don't include, but Rob just isn't capable of having that conversation or even comprehending what traditional values are. The craziest part is that if conservatives (who coined that phrase/concept) explained to Rob that traditional values consist of a,b,c & d, but exclude x,y & z, Rob would feel compelled to tell them they are wrong.
Dems call the Republicans Socialists, Communists, and Fascist, but dems are the ones asking for government to be in control of and pay for everything. Tell me how that makes sense.
What dems fight for:
- Government run healthcare
- Government paid transportation
- Ban guns
- Remove the upper class
- Parents don't have an opinion on what is taught in public schools
- Government controlled rent
- To end Capitalism
All of these things are the pure definition of being a Socialist, communist, and/or a fascist.
No, it's just you intentionally taking things out of context again. If this limited amount of info and context is all you can say over and over again, then there's no more to say.Pay attention. I'm not talking about outside of the US, just as YOU aren't talking about outside the US when you state you wants those old US values back.
Yes, we ended slavery. But it was one of those not-so-old US values. There were plenty more that were crappy.
You want the "old days" back?
You are the one pining for the return of the old ways and the old days. I have no interest in "those good old days". They were a lot dirtier than the dreamers seem to realize.
Literally it's all over the newsYou're an idiot. I support the concept of a sovereign wealth fund. I never said anything about political parties in my post. Two libtards, in extremely large cities, ran on gov't owned grocery stores and won. It's been all over the news.
