current draw for my amp?

i have a mb quart rated at 1200 wts at 1 ohm. this is my current setup and it draws alot of current for my truck. now it does 800 watts at 2 ohm. if i did a different setup at 2 ohms will it make a big difference in current draw or just a little? just curious. just trying to deal with it untill i can get another battery for the back.thanks oh by the way it is a mb quart 1200d

Disconnect the battery lead at the alternator and see if your power still drains. Or, disconnect everything from the battery so just the battery...
