Wish u woulda told me sooner.. I wanted a pioneer mid great reviews but they got like 3.5" mounting depth and more $ too.. i'll play them on ht in house couple hours to break them in some day before I install.. if they aren't bad in car but I don't like them i'll sell them if I see something else I like and while I'm mounting them i'll see what I'd have to do to door to mount deeper ones later..

Not that coax generally can, but I couldnt get much below 100hz on them. My Image 4x6 coax sounded better and could succesfully cover down to 70hz on the mid.

Again, coax are generally poor choices beyond factory upgrade, but the SQs were not noteworthy in any way

they may do fine for me., I have very low end shallow depth pioneers so probably better that what I got,, if they sound ok I'm gonna pull rear speakers out use holes and port into cabin for well bass., worked good in last car but had crap load more power to doors then. I do have 2 tweeters per door so helps with highs.. did any of u notice sq has atrend boxes listed on their site now and they are actually tuned right all dimensions are listed even port which is 2.5" (what I want) 24" long but they $141 like I said I'd be better off getting box from bass factory (on ebay) with sq sub in it for $159, but i'll worry about box later..
