CSX and 6,000 watts

I'm saving up to get a all out comp system. The treo site says that the csx can handle any amplifier. Is this true??? Cauze if it is i want to get this thing to power it for burps.

The 6k watts is rated at 12.5v. so the sub will actually be getting close to 7k. Can it handle it??

i saw 2 of these amps in person in a JBL van at nspl finals! AND ****, they are huge!!!! like over 3ft by 2ft....and the guy sed that actual in car...with a sturdy electrical system they'll put out even WELL over 7,000watts. It's nuts, at JBL's test site...w/ unlimited amount of current, they peaked it out at 20,000 watts for a few seconds. they're in fact...crazy! but, i'd be interested in letting the CSX take on that thing, though i'm sure it could for a burp. peace

I imagine the CSX would take it the only thing I would be worried about is your electrical system.

Your probably gonna need at least a 250+ amp alt. Contact Dominik if you want one, i just got mine a couple of days ago and my god it is beautiful!

Try three. 7000W is going to draw a hell of a lot of current (around 550-600A depending on efficiency).

yes, that amp draws close to 700 amps of current...

you dont want that in a daily driver, and it will nuke a csx or any sub out there rather for music purposes...

I really just want a comp system that will tool anything around here. Maybe that amp is just a little to much for wat i want. How bout' a ssx wit 2k to it.? im sure thatll be loud, but will it be clean and accurate or sound like a whole lot of ***??

A daily driver that you can take to comps ... or a dedicated one note wonder specifically designed for SPL comps ... which one ? Build two boxes if need be ...

Get the JBL, ooooo my mouth is watering....two alternators putting out like 600 amps and watch your eyes bleed out as your ears are probably going to do the same.
