CSS Subduction Series

It still is. It doesn't need XBL to be 'amazing'...
Ok, that's not what I meant, I am sure it is still amazing, but considering the fact that their other subs have it I am wondering why the 12" doesn't, I didn't mean to imply that the sub as it is is a bad sub.

I emailed CSS Sounds. Its licensing issues.

"Dear Sir,

Originally they were all going to be without XBL as there were some

licensing issues. There will be a 12" with XBL but it will be a budget

oriented speaker.

I always though those subs looked....sexy.
I agree, very sexy drivers.

Darn, would have loved to see their 12" XBL driver.

That's kind of weird... I wonder what kind of licensing issues there would be for a different size of driver?

Either way, I would say Bob offers the best value pound-per-buck for XBL technology drivers out there. If I ever wanted XBL, I'd buy from him.

Well, I don't think it was that, I think they made the 12" first, and couldn't get the license so they made it without it, then they did get the license and made the 15" and 10" versions, at least that's what I get out of what Megalomaniac posted.

Well, the whole idea behind licensing is you get for your product line or you don't get it. If that is indeed the case, then other "companies" would be having the same problem trying to get the technology into their 12" units.

Yea, but what I got otu of that was not necessarily that they had trouble getting the license for the 12", but had trouble getting it in general and released the sub before they had the license but they got it in time to incorporate XBL into their 10" and 15" versions.

Ah, well that's different then. Give it time if that's the case, I'm sure the 12" version will be out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I can't guarantee that I am right, that's just what I got out of that post from Megalomaniac.
