well finally the crysis demo has been released. very badass i might add. but your gonna need a super rig to be able to play it on full settings and a high resolution. im running my 6400 at 3.43ghz and have 2 8800gtx oc's in SLI and cannot run this game maxed out. heh o well... maybe it will come when the full version is released.

Besides the fact that you can jump 60 feet into the air, jumping onto rooftops and jumping roof to roof and jumping off cliffs, running 70 mph, and knocking someone back 40 feet when you hit them, it looks amazing.

ill play this kickass game in 12 years when i can finally afford a 'puter that will run it at max settings. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

eh... it looks ok.. The graphics and new tech is nice but the gameplay seems fake being able to take on a chopper for 2+ minutes and being able to take on a humvee full of troops with only your bare hands while they are firing = ghey

Also the jumping and hyper mode running are ghey too.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare will be easily 2-3 times better

so basically there is no PC out right now that ive seen on any forums that can run this game at max settings and very high resolutions. which means the game has some issues as a demo and that hopefully the full release will be tweaked and fixed so that ppl can actually play it like it was meant to be. COD4 is where its at though. run it in SLI and maxed out and not a jitter out of my pc. looks great and the demo was fun. ill wait to buy crysis now and see how ppls pc's perform before i waste 54 dollars on a game i cant enjoy cuz it lags like a-hole

He only has an AMD Athlon X2 6400+ ... I'm sure it's not the GPUs that are the weak link in his system ...
Thats a pretty **** decent CPU, I'm using an X2 4400+ and am going to get a 8800 GT more than likely, should handle most things well enough. For him it's not necessarily the fact that its the CPU or the vid cards, just that Crysis is so stressful nothing will run it great yet. I always laugh when a company comes out with a new line of GPUs that supports a new DirectX rev, they are never actually powerful enough to make use of that rev anyway, its not until the next gen chip, IE the 9x00 series, that will be able to handle DX10 with any real framerates.
