shit, thomasville is this weekend. I might not make it.

But move the box around. Try bracing some things inside and out. Move seats around, visors, put crap in the car (worked for me. I lost 0.2 dB when I took m 1' all stack of books that was on the passenger floor board out of the truck). External ports. Higher and lower tuning. You've got the idea. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Nah...just gain em up, until either the O-scope goes wild or you stop gaining db's
We usually gradually go up on the volume until it quits getting louder. Setting the gain a little higher than you would for a daily setup has yielded my best results. But thats just a SPL nerds point of view. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

your an idiot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Gave me 0.1. I didnt slam the gain full, but I could tell audibly it was clipped a good ammount. It looked a little funky on the TL. I get a lot of harmonics in my truck from vibrating panels though. Espeically the back wall.

I'm even worse than that.

I'll play with the gain AND head unit volume until I get the best combination.

The best combination that I've tested is amp gain nearly maxed out and less head unit volume. Even when I turn the amp gain down and the head unit volume up, I usually lose a little bit as compared to a higher gain and less head unit volume.

.1db is a negligible difference. battery voltage and many other factors can come into play to cause that much a difference. Clipping a amp just heats up the coils faster and decreases the life of a sub. Dont you have mags? Your just lucky they are designed so its hard for the coil to reach backplate otherwise you would be on your 5th or 6th recone by now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

but nobody can tell u a thing because you know everything
