I was looking at getting maybe two solo-x 10s. It was suggested that I use a crx style box because I only have 6.5 (before displacement) cubes to work with in a trunk.

Also, if you know of some better spl-only type subs that would be better suited for a box of this size I would like to hear it as well.

I figure the squares will help me out the most in the comps...

I considered the mt during the group buy but no one ever used the 10. The 18 was all the rage and the DD is way out my price range. The DD each is about the same as two solo-x's.

btw....I am waiting to see how the IA 40.1 compares with the memphis 4kw. Both are strappable. Both are ~4000watts. I am waiting to see some price points. I can find the memphis for around $1400, but I am sure someone somewhere can help me find a better deal when the time arises.
