crutchfield?

is crutchfield the bset place to order car aduio products.what are some better ones?
From experience buy from an authorized dealer. Go cheap to save some coin on ebay or from some unauthorized delaer and you'll eventually end up with an expensive paper weight.

If you need to nickel and dime then maybe there are more important things in your life to attend to than buying car audio equipment. JMO.

Crutchfield has some of the best customer service in the business. The free install accessories they give out with many purchases are pretty freggin' handy. Their tech support sometimes leaves somethng to be desired but those representatives do make a genuine attempt even if they do not know the answer you're after.

Pricing is a drag but you get a full, valid manufacturer's warranty.

To be honest I think their price isnt the best but their customer service is outstanding. I dont know many place that lets you install a 2K system and get a 100% refund within 30 days. And they pay for return shipping cost! I use ebay occasionally but its a compromise between value/dependability. If you already got a specific item in mind, I recomend Pricegrabber.com for some results.

He never even mentioned money in his first post, but yes crutchfield is a great place to buy from off the net.

As well as many other sites that offer good products at a fair price.

Overpriced, but legit.

If you dont want a warrenty, then there are plenty of other places out there where you can buy stuff. Otherwise, crutchfeild and sounddomain FTW...

I've ordered from crutchfield over a dozen times through the years.

I agree with everyone else. Sometimes they can be on the high side...but if you catch what you want on sale or just want to get the free stuff, warranty, and decent support, they're good.

Crutchfield is a good spot. You won't score any bargains there but I suspect that is how they stay authorized with some pretty good brands. They also include for free any necessary adapters and vehicle specific info on pulling interior panels and door panels to install head units and speakers.

The main reason I like them is they encourage people who otherwise might hand their car over to Best Buy to do their own installs and have a place to call if you need help.

For an Authorized dealer with excellent customer service, warranty policy, accessories included and a superb return policy theyre tought to beat.

For those saying "overpriced" theyre really not at all. Theyre selling at retail, and your buying from a Retailer. Nothing more to it. They have some fair deals here and there, but overall satisfaction as well as the accessories they include are more than worth the price. If I wasnt in the business, I wouldnt hesitate for a second to purchase from them, in fact I do on some occasions.
