Thankfully.
Something I do need to ask about it that it says my next payment is due sometime in May. I wonder if I could quit paying until May.
You probly could, Since the double payments you were making, they probly applied them as early payments.

Well, the analysis is clear....
Moving to that fixed at 5.3 will save $12k.

I just need to knock about $3k off the loan value...can pay closing costs out of pocket.
sounds like a plan.

My drama for the day: My ex calls me claims Im never there for her and never was (we still talk) and claims I don't need to worry about her anymore cause she won't be here any longer and shuts her phone off. So now Im not sure what I should do Im at work so I can't just leave and check on her.........

if you have one of her friends numbers, call her and tell her. If you dont, wash your hands of the situation. Cries for attention are whack B.

better yet, call her parents and the police and everyone you can think of. That way if she is bluffing she will be embarrassed. if she isnt, you will be a hero. But make sure you never talk to her again either way.

I was considering it because I expect inflation to be high when I planned on it. I didn't expect the economic condition to turn as it did. High inflation = high interest rates to curb inflation.

It isn't my fault. Several homes in the area have been foreclosed. While that isn't my fault, it hurts me. I was reading an article on this issue a while back and thought the guy was exaggerating. But no. I paid $118 for the house, owe $111.6 and house is worth $110. That is according to one place that updates their metrics monthly. Those with longer lags have it higher...one place has it at $120.
I know it isn't your fault. I am just saying that if anyone in this thread left enough room for these variables it was you lol. I am not meaning to express fault, but observation of the situation. I have so many foreclosures in my area. My home is listed by tax appraiser being nearly 100k less than I paid. I don't let it weigh me too heavily though. This home wasn't bought as an investment. It was bought with the sole intention of living in it for quite a while.

Can you call anyone else to go check on her?

If not and you truly do care, I'd leave.

Her parents?

Your parents?

friends?

Authorities?

I don't believe my folks' place or the rentals have gone down yet...the rate of appreciation has slowed though.

I'm just burning money in an equityless pit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Well, the only reason I care is for the re-fi....

I am still working this amortization table under different scenarios...trying to determine when I should re-fi. I guess it doesn't matter since I cannot re-fi soon anyway because the housing credit was much less than expected.
