Nothing hence why I accepted it. I'm tired of people blaming the union for the big 3's problem. The union has allowed them to hire new employees at half the rate and offer much lower benefits.
I guess you missed where I posted the number of union and salary employees at GM.
I didn't miss the slam dunk where WSW told that if salary really is being treated better than union workers then the only people to blame are the unions.
Without the union GM's entire workforce would be overseas.
So how is that a problem with the union? Is the union suppose to tell the retirees who were promised a pension 30 years ago that GM's legacy costs are too high so you will not be getting a pension now. The union has given up a lot for retirees. Retirees get less then 30k fixed income which social security pays for part of it, plus health benefits have been cut for retirees and new hires.

I seen the post came off wrong so I modified it. The union has conceded a lot on pensions. No free doctor's visits, cap on dental and vision, deductibles, increased prescriptions etc.
Yes in today's age. 35 years ago that wasn't the case. No one would've stuck with the big 3 for 30 years if there was no pension. I am not expecting GM to give me a pension. Back in the 60's and 70's, it was more customary for the employer to offer you a pension. Now you want the union to tell all these people their screwed.
