I bought the 8, but it requires the following done: pretty much all at once
1. New rear end

2. New rear wheels (because v8s had 5 spokes)

3. New/shortened drive shaft

4. Front disc brake upgrade

5. New front suspension

6. New radiatior

7. New front wheels and tires

8. The rebuild of engine/******

That's quite a bit that needs to be done simultaneuously and I didn't have the money to lump sum it.

I am trying to determine the increase in HP vs. loss in mileage.

Either way, I need to get the heads done to accept unleaded fuel.

Luckily, my head was done in the 80s for unleaded.

If you want mpg, definitely go with EFI, the control allowed by it is just so far and above what a carb can do

Yes.
I will have discs at all four corners before it's over so I can get 5 lug wheels (more selection).

It will be MS, MB...but with discs, it will be cool.

nice, mine is still MS but I converted to power discs in the front
