The problem is, she lives in Grand Rapids which is 2.5 hours away. I would have to quit my job and school to live there.

sub-frame is broken. I don't want drive down the road...torque up the motor, and then my car break in half. Plus it would need a lot of work done at once. The 6 cyl allows the car to be driveable and I still upgrade things.

Grand Rapids is better then Detroit, Saginaw, Flint etc. because it isn't reliant on manufacturing, but I only have like 5 weeks of school left and I graduate. Then I'll move but I want to go to Detroit not Grand Rapids.

What is problematic is that I am trading the 289 for a 200 and a 250.
The 200 is an auto and the 250 is a 3 speed.

Either way, the 5 speed will be the end result.

you want the 200 cause of mpg though, right?

can't you just take the 3 speed from the 250 and stick it on the 200?

It rusted out and has been rewelded. The fronts aren't broken, someone used a bottle jack in the wrong place and it bent the subframe.
I am thinking of welding in some subframe connectors for support.

just make sure the frame is solid, you do not want problems with that

and SFC are supposed to make a huge difference on Camaros so I'd imagine they'd be good for your Mustang too
