$515 a piece or $515 total? I couldn't find anything in Minny for $500. You can get down to $300 here, but it isn't somewhere I recommend living.

Active is usually always going to be more expensive.
4 channels are more expensive than 2

You can buy mids and tweeters cheaper then a component set and you can find some good cheap 4-channel amps.
