I am excited about this house. I wish I had money to make a lot of improvements.

Just do a little a time...what's the rush?

Also...check out craigslist. You could probably furnish the house pretty nice if you are patient. I have seen furniture better than what I have in the free section.

Paint and drywall work isn't hard....just be patient. I am looking into painting my bedroom when I go to Lowe's.

My list now includes appliances since I have none, paint, a new window for the bathroom. I would love to be able to redo the basement and make like a game room. A floor to ceiling mural of the English D would be tits.

Home ownership does make one dream big.

I haven't done any internal improvements since I have owned the house....just patience, a plan, and bit-by-bit, you can make it work.

I would only buy a crothc rocket, if I had already bought the cruiser I want. They are nice toys, but I don't care to ride them for extended periods. I actually want a honda trike.

One thing that annoys me is that the manufacturers seem to think American buyers only want sportbikes or cruisers. There are very few options in the US for a *****, standard-riding-position bike with little frills if bought new.

No doubt. Those seem to got to euro markets. For the most part they are right about the demographics. Many do think in terms of extremes. However, there still are plenty who want a basic decent rider.

I thought bikes were for middle aged men trying to stroke their ego? It would make sense in jazzing them up. I however know nothing or care to know anything about bikes.
