Dam those taxes are high. Still digging the house though. I like those big windows.

The one on the left is the master bedroom. I could put on a show for the neighbors. Those taxes are about the highest in the state, except for Detroit which has outrageous millage rates. The only upside to higher tax rates is it keeps the bad crowds and investors out.

My uncle lives in Sterling Heights and pays $1700 a year. He was floored when I told him how high taxes were. However, I think he benefits from Proposal A.

In other news:

Tonight was "international" dinner night. I concluded they eat shit I would throw away in Eastern Europe. They don't even use hot sauce. What kind of culture doesn't have hot sauce. I was the only American there at this dinner party...It reminded me of Charlie Brown's mother...even though the languages in Eastern Europe are different....Russian /= others, etc. Fck that shit. However, they had cars that where more expensive than my house. I wouldn't fvck with them in a fist fight even though he wore tight pants.

Girl B was BS as usual. She requires too much effort.

In the end, kissed two girls, played with the ******* of the foreign girl and that was that. The foreign girl said she only has *** four times when I asked if she knew how to ride a dick. (She was straddling me as I layed on her friend's bed) She had no clue. Bish hasn't seen ET, Bish hasn't seen Charlie Brown, Bish hasn't got teh penis from the back. They said fvcking these inexperienced girls was FTL. But not riding teh dick...I though they pulled girls aside in middle school to teach them that, along with cooking and cleaning and whatnot.

Lastly, I shall be getting the blue car for FREE.

For what it's worth, the yellow top battery that I left in it when I sold it to my friend is worth more than the car. Me thinks it has a warped head...dunno for sure though...Still...easy fix but I have to deal with blow-by. If I can spend less than $1.5k and drive it 60k miles, I will make my money back as trade-in is guarenteed $500 or so. I think I can make it run 2 or 3 years.

Well kids I bought a house

Taxes are $3300 for the year. The SEV value is $82k (In Michigan that means theoretically the value of the house is 164k) but obviously it is not a 164k house. I'm going to appeal it and hopefully get 10k knocked off. I'll work on boosting my credit and getting the mortgage in my name. It's not that I have bad credit, I just haven't been able to establish enough credit. I didn't get my first line of credit till I was 20.

While I am thinking of it, T your taxes on that house may go down substantially at some point. I bet the tax figure you are working on does not include a reduction for homestead. Due to the timing, it may be nearly a year before you qualify.

It is homestead rates. Non-homestead would be $4500 a year. The taxes were delinquent by the previous owner so I'm hoping he just owed a lot in interest.
