Where is all this snow they talk about on TV?Some kind of Lake Snow....whatever that is.

Thy start salting the roads before it snows and constantly plow so it never accumulates on the road.

That is up north along the Lake Michigan and Lake Superior coasts. The upper peninsula can get upwards of 36" but they are yoopers and nobody cares about them.

Usually it doesnt pile up against your front door because you have a porch or stairs going to your door.

I see. Not all houses here have those. I do in the front, but not in the back. It would just trip me out to try to walk in a foot of snow.

LOL I never had a problem getting out of my house. If you live in the snow belts here, you can have 12-18" drop over night.
