How do you get out of your house? If there was a 1' of snow, I wouldn't think you could open the door...I dunno, 1' of snow would be hard to imagine.

In colder climates they have been forced to engineer doors that open inwards.

It isn't a pain in the ***. Shovel your walkway, then when it is done snowing, snowblow your driveway. If you don't live in the snow belts, you rarely get 12" snowfalls.

What do you do? How do you get out of your driveway?

A snowblower is a wonderful machine. We don't get 1 foot snowfalls in Detroit, but our houses have overhangs and the snow doesn't pile up near the door. For a normal home it should take no longer then 30 minutes to clear the snow.

Many knock HP, but I have had luck with my 3 year old HP laptop. I had to do a fresh install of WindowsXP when i got mine because of all the bloatware that comes with them. I would do that with nearly any Laptop company though.

I rather like my Compaq. I haven't heard many people knock HP?

The wind could blow it away. Maybe once a year Detroit gets a snowfall over 10" I haven't been stuck in my house over 5"

I can get exercise doing more enjoyable activities. So I guess then you are just as much of a ***** about hot weather as I am about cold weather. Except that hot weather doesn't cause me unnecessary time and effort.
