Im not racist or a border hopper, you got rid of the border hopper before I came in here.I don't care for the AEs of racist border hoppers.
They aren't going to let an outside company have free reign on their plant unsupervised. No employee who was under the union contract, and I repeat no employee, would be in the plant during the July shutdown. If your friend says otherwise, his is either a liar and/or douchebag. This is like a fvcking Abott and Costello routine.
There would have been no reason for them to have even been there if they were not part of a bragaining unit whose contract required the company to have three union workers for every non union oustide employee.
You certainly don't need three employees for every non employee just to supervise them. The reason that you would have such a requirement is to protect union jobs from being outsourced. They aren't going to let an outside company have free reign on their plant unsupervised. I'm being trolled hard here but I can't help myself from replying. During the shutdown the lines are not working. An autoworker has one position on the line and does just that. Without a working assembly line, they cannot have assembly line workers. I can take the position because it is fact. The plants are completely shut down. What don't you understand about that? they are shut down, completely inoperable, no production, nothing. The people who would be there to supervise the outsider would be salary people who work for the UAW, or foremans who are not union employees. You certainly don't need three employees for every non employee just to supervise them. I can't believe that you can take the position that no union employee would be at the plant during the shutdown. I guarantee you that if you read the contract there is a provision for how union employees who work during that time are to be paid. No doubt about it whatsoever.
I'm not sure which way to take that.I am as much god as your make believe 6 figure salary.
I understand that, and that is why the employees are paid additional funds. I never said they were line workers, but they were employees of the company. Hell, it may even be possible that they were members of a different union. I have no idea as to whether maintenance employees at an auto plant would be members of the UAW or some other blood ******* union. But they were definitely union members who the employer had to bring in under a union contract.I'm being trolled hard here but I can't help myself from replying.
