Do laptops come with a real mouse or do I have to buy one? Also, is okay if I keep the laptop on the charger at all time or should I let the battery die like a cell phone?

they normally do not come with a mouse. you can pick up a wireless one that plugs into a usb port decently priced. I'd recommend treating them like any lithium ion battery and run them till they are dead.
