Had a 3.1l in my first camaro...POS
Have had 2 3.8l in the Pontiac's we owned. 1 threw a rod at 75k with my fathers feather foot driving and the other had electrical nightmares.

Horrible engines.
Because you apparently can't manage to keep an engine in tact means they are horrible? When did they put 3.1 in Camaros? I thought the 6's they put in those were 4.3's?

I dont trust that motor. Its not old enough for me to feel comfortable.

How many miles on it?

Trust me, carmax is not customer oriented. They are a large chain out for your money. The car industry is full of crooks...you just got to find the less crooked.

use your hands to show her that the clutch goes up as the gas goes down... if she cant understand hand motions you might want to re evaluate your decision to marry this broad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
I told her to watch my feet as I drove it. This truck is one of the easiest ones I've driven. It doesn't take much gas for the clutch to grab on it. I just thought females are incapable of driving manuals.

Camaro v6 engines were as follows

2.5l

2.8l

3.1l

3.4l

3.8l

I know even more people that have issues with those engines as well...its not just me. As stated 4.3l, 5.3l, 5.7l GM or go import.

You are the only one I have heard who has had problems with those engines. My 2nd car was a 93 Grand Prix with a 3.1. My mom's car was a 2000 Impala with a 3.8. My dad works for Ford's and liked the GM engines so much he went GM instead of Ford. The new Grand Prix still uses the 3800 and was rated perfect by JD Power.

When I say carmax is customer oriented, the guy really didn't give a fvck whether I bought a car or not.

Car salesmen make a whopping $50 on new cars, where they get you is how bad they F you on your trade in. If you buy used you are buying some poor smucks corn cob the previous owners salesman shafted him with loL!

What about the Dakota.I am not sure about the coil on each cylinder thing.
My 5.3l has a coil on each cylindar. 150k miles only thing changed is the oil, belts and a water pump. Same plugs and everything else from factory.

Total cost of maint on this truck so far is

'01

$60/yr oil changes

2 belts $40 total

Water pump $300

OMFG.lawl..he nails the Jasmine part flawlessly! Wow, wow, wow.

good luck with that. My Sony Walkman phone crapped out on me after having it 3 weeks. Luckily its been fine ever since.

I have never played backgammon. My brother taught me how to play chess..He is 7 years older than me..Taught me how to play when I was like 8, and he routinely kicked my *** for years. Finally when I was about 11 or 12 I beat his ***. I never let him live that down for like 3 months.

Now I am fairly decent at chess, but my ego took a major blow when I lost to a stupid *** friend of mine a few months ago.

I got beat in less than 3 minutes, twice, by this iraqi translator.

I don't need more board games to **** at.

She cannot comprehend the use of a clutch. I tell her not to let it out so fast and we ride through first gear with the clutch halfway engaged. I tell her to let it out and she lets it out before giving it gas. She doesn't understand you need to hit the clutch as well as the brake. We couldn't even get far enough to practice shifting gears. It was horrible. Plus being that the truck is so old, it's carbureted and that was a chore getting it started.

My car's a stick and a girl was driving it flawlessly while wearing heels over the weekend. Mmm...
