was it good? it all happened so fast man....like it really did. I guess it was but I felt really really bad after it was over. Like instantly after it was over I felt a swarm of bad feelings. so I didn't really get to enjoy any of it.

Many times. But I felt you were taking the approach of cutting it off because you were objective and without emotion...not advocating cutting it off because you don't want to get your feelings hurt.

Everyone has their own reasons for saying to do that. But its the easiest way to deal with it. Also whats in bold is the reason I give most people.

In other news, I decided I cannot be friends with my ex. I can't handle to hear who she is sleeping with or what she is doing. I am not going to call her until she can tell me whatever without me getting emotional about it.

That's good -- but one more piece of advice. Don't get it in your head that one day you will be fine with talking to her. IMO the thing you need to do is convince yourself that you will not have contact with her again. Just get her out of your mind completely. No exceptions.
