Okay, real quick. First, I think that 90% of what is on RSD is pure bullshit being sold to people who are desperate and who then act it has improved their lives, mostly to fool their selves. TB, I know that you agree with me on RSD specifically. I can't speak as to other sources because I can only troll one site at a time with my hectic schedule.
Having said that, I can say that even from RSD I can tell that there are some ideas that could really help young men. Most of these are basic, such as quit giving a fvck if you are rejected just get out there and approach women. However, most guys do not relect on that type stuff at all so any attention to these issues is an improvement.
The danger is in getting obsessed with that shit. One needs to be able to seperate the good (which is not all that much from what I can see) from the brainwashing material (which comprises the bulk).
The biggest problems stem form the fact that it is commercialized and those in charge believe that in order for it to soak in they must speak in absolute terms. They leave no room for grey areas and they quell any dissent.
In the end, what they offer could help most guys if they took ot in moderation. However, I think what happens in way too many cases is they take some naturally shy guys and turn them into complete wierdos.
