A)get new HD boot from windows disk and then get your drivers you need.
B)get external case for HD you currently have and clean. Then put back into LT and reinstall windows and drivers.

What is the original reason you wanted to format? Just the slow running? BSOD is 99% hardware related. If you want the new HD PM me. I'll even load Legit XP and anything else you want on it.

Yep, swap drives, boot from disc and do a fresh install. I actually do this with every god@mn PC I buy. The first thing I do is wipe off the BS the manufacturer preloads.
