wow man, funny coincidence, I have a 160gb SATA HD that I cant use Because I need IDE. If you want it let me know.

Shit if you are giving it away I'll take it. What is the difference between SATA 1.5 GB and SATA 3.0 GB? Would a SATA 3.0 GB work in mine?

Yes a sata 3gb will work. Where technology is right now we cant even use the 1.5gb to full potential so there is no gain from one to the other.

Personally I cant stand SATA drives, Its probably cuz I cant use it but PM man, if you really want to go that route. Vut I dont think you need a whole new Drive. But I'm not giving it away.LOL, trades always welcome LOL

havent used them enough and just dont see the advantage except a big inconvinience for me.. Are they actually better as far as speed or reliablility goes?

I put new ram in it back in July when I first bought it.

What is the original reason you wanted to format? Just the slow running? BSOD is 99% hardware related. If you want the new HD PM me. I'll even load Legit XP and anything else you want on it.

A)get new HD boot from windows disk and then get your drivers you need.

B)get external case for HD you currently have and clean. Then put back into LT and reinstall windows and drivers.
