.
I don't want to overdo it though. I thought 8 freaking gallons would be plenty!

I ended up buying some $27 Banish algacide they said I needed. It is supposed to kill all types of algae in 24 hours.

Heres the instructions t hey gave me.

Day 1

Clean filter with filter magic

Put in 10lbs of alkalinity up

Throw in 5 bags of burn out extreme shock

An hour later apply 24oz of the Banish

Day 2

5 more bags of burnout extreme and vacuum/scrub pool

Day 3

Vacuum to waste

"These were people who were essentially stoned all day every day for 20 years," Marijuana Policy Project spokesman Bruce Mirken said by e-mail. "This study says nothing about moderate or occasional users, who are the vast majority -- and the (study) even acknowledges this."
"The documented damage caused by comparably heavy use of alcohol or tobacco is just off-the-charts more serious, and you don't need high-tech scans to find it," Mirken added.

Just spent $78 on pool chemicals //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I don't even want to know how much I have spent trying to get it blue/crystal clear this summer. It seems I can only get one or the other. My dumbass didn't shock it/ algaecide it weekly like recommended and it kicked my *** this weekend when thunderstorms rolled through big time.

It has been a costly learning experience to say the least.
Chlorinator and salt FTW.
I just jacked up the chlorine production percentage on my intellichlor because we are hitting rainy season.

I only shocked once this year so far. Byfar this is the cheapest and easiest way to care for a pool. I will never own another poll without a chlorine generator and ozone generator again.

I just spent 1 hour and 45 minutes cleaning my room. First time I had cleaned it since like late April.

Talk about messy. Had to vacuum the floor like 4 times to get all the little stuff up.

I keep the house really clean. My room, not so much.

The kitchen has an elvis plate collection //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
