Like I said, I understand what you guys are saying. I just don't think that all the facts were in at the time the decision was made. I understand you guys are saying that it would not have mattered. Perhaps it would not have, I really don't know -- then again maybe the mods don't know either since the mods are out of decision making mode and into defending the decision mode.
As far as what Goob would do, yeah I agree. It may have sounded like I was suggesting that this would all be taken care of if only Goob would be brought in. That dam sure isn't the case.

The whole situation was actually brought up in the back room after Tracy was in there and after KR said he had gotten his refund. Not much happened in there after that.

Yes sir, I was actually talking about Req in particular (and maybe Jmac). Req stated that SM only returned the money after he was called out on it. My understanding is that by the time Polecat got involved the money had been in KR's account for nearly a week.

I am not blasting Req, if he didn't know he didn't know. Just making an observation.

I can't just "get out". I am at work and it is an extremely boring day with nothing for me to do. This is giving me something to do. In turn I am giving you something to do.

so there is a 2003 honda accord ex for sale.
The car has 112k miles, has new tires, leather, sunroof, wood grain interior, alloy wheels, power everything, seat heaters, and a 6 disc CD changer/premium sound system.

Go get a '07 Accord and put that money down. 117k isnt bad, but you should get newer IMO.

I will say this once. So all draw near and listen closely.

My impression is that a lot of civil disobedience goes back to the mod election fiasco. Goob handled that poorly. It is his site and he can have whatever mods he wants, but that doesn't mean there are zero consequences in the attitudes of members.

You can go back to my posts before the election and see that I really did not care if we even had an election. I had no problems with any of the existing mods and quite frankly, I was content with the know versus the unknown.

But once the elections were held and announced, Goob should have have installed the new mods IMO. If he did not like the results, he should have culled them before they were announced. Of course, he probably had no idea who he thought was undesireable because he had not been told what his opinion was yet.

Fuel was added to the fire by the fact that some of the outgoing mods pulled some stunts of their own in what they thought was going to be the last days of their modship.

These stunts would have been no big deal if they had actually left office. They would have been seen as the equivalent of "senior pranks." One last hurrah.

But when the old mods stayed in place, the pranks took on a new meaning. It was more eveidence that Goob just has no clue. He was making a decision that the new mods could not be trusted, while the pranks of the old mods were still fresh on everyone's mind.

Furthermore, the perception was that the old mods had Goob's ear and he was listening to their viewpoints -- which were obviously biased.

The effect of this on the SM situation may be remote -- but IMO it was directly related to the T sitaution.
