I used to have my ears pierced a couple years ago with some diamonds. Never been a fan of necklaces though.

ive always liked chains, but never could find a charm i wanted, so i havent had one since high school and my watch is just a fossil.

If the smoke detectors were not maintained according to code, then yes he deserves every penny the property management/owners have. And then some.

Im not sure how it works now, but i dont remember having to be responsible as a landlord for maintaining smoke detectors. However, this was on houses, not apartment buildings. So its probly different. The thing was that in B-more this happens so much that the city gives the smoke detectors out for free to try to stop this, people just dont do it. All you have to do is go to the fire station and pick them up. Im sure most cities have something like this. However, a smoke detector definitely would have saved their lives. Its been almost a year though so im not sure whats going on with this. I know I havent really heard anything about it for the past 6 months. I dont know. I know they are gonna bring up the fact that the fire may have been her fault, but i dont know.

First time I have ver been to a concert. It was way too long. Doors opened at 7 and closed around 11:15-11:30.
The Roots were pretty good...Badu, not so good. I am not sure if it is that I am not that big of a fan, or I can't really listen to anyone for 2 hours straight.

I liked how everybody in attendance was pretty cool. No thugs really...except this white guy sitting next to me. He seemed very very out of place.

I misunderstood, I thought this was an apt and that he was talking about hallway and entrance detectors possibly. He should be responsible for maintaining the ones in his living space. Now if there weren't enough according to code or none at all then yes the landlord is responsible. They have to at least install them. Then it becomes a tenants responsibility to check on the functionality routinely.

If tenant personally notifies landlord of a mechanical failure, landlord must give tenant a written receipt acknowledging the notification.

Tenant may not remove a smoke detector or make it inoperative.

Landlord may require a refundable deposit for the detector, not exceeding the value of the detector. This provision does not apply to hotels or motels.
