"Hi honey. This is Daddy. Is Mommy near the phone?"

"No Daddy. She's upstairs in the bedroom with Uncle Paul."

After a brief pause, Daddy says, "But honey, you don't have An Uncle Paul."

"Oh yes I do, and he's upstairs in the room with Mommy, right now."

Brief Pause. "Uh, okay then, this is what I want you to do. Put the phone down on the table, run upstairs and knock on the bedroom door and shout to Mommy that Daddy's car just pulled into the driveway."

"Okay Daddy, just a minute."

A few minutes later the little girl comes back to the phone. "I did it Daddy."

"And what happened honey?" he asked.

"Well, Mommy got all scared, jumped out of bed with no clothes on and ran around screaming. Then she tripped over the rug, hit her head on the dresser and now she isn't moving at all!"

"Oh my God!!! What about your Uncle Paul?"

"He jumped out of the bed with no clothes on, too. He was all scared and he jumped out the back window and into the swimming pool. But I guess he didn't know that you took out the water last week to clean it. He hit the bottom of the pool and I think he's dead."

***Long Pause***

Then Daddy says, "Swimming pool???? . . . Is this 486-5731?"

I think it may work...it will be a lot of work though...and I'd have to sleep for a couple weeks on concrete floors. I have slept in worse places though.

It's a fairly nice house for the money. I paid roughly the same for my first house, and it was no where near as nice as that. However, I was in an area where the housing market is jacked up beyond belief....

Really the only thing that looks "old" is the kitchen...and maybe that was the idea? Kinda an old-fashioned look to the house overall. I failed to notice the lot size, I assume its pretty standard, looks to be plenty of room around it, which is good. Only bad thing I can think of is that you've got 10 years in for things like septic/drainfield and the roof. Don't flip out or anything (lol) it just puts you 10 years closer to having to replace all that crap. I'd take someone else there if you like it, get an outsiders opinion of the place, and go from there. Hell, don't be afraid to haggle, you can get them to come down at least a few grand on the price, its expected.
