Thinking like yours is why people I know kill themselves after their wives leave them and they lose everything because they didn't consider the risks. The gf understands these risks as well. She doesn't want for me to be able to leave her high and dry with all the bills either. She pays $40 a month for a cell phone line for her ex. He can't use the phone or the line, but she still has to pay. She learned about having to pay for a mistake in a relationship. She thought she was going to marry the guy, but problems ensued and they called it off. And she can't just not pay because it would ruin her credit.


Now that may work...but I suppose if we broke up, I would just buy her out I guess.

YES!!! getting divorced and the girl takes half is not a good idea. My rule of thumb is know someone for 5 years and live with them for at least 3 before getting married. That way you truly know the other person and wont have as many surprises.

I think my phone is only $100, if you buy it with a contract. if not i think its much more. This crack isnt worth it to buy or get a new phone over, its just an annoyance, and ****ed up since it happened so soon. If people wouldnt call me in the morning this shit wouldnt have happened......

From my understanding, people change after getting married.
And I hope to only get married once.

I can not say from personal experience as I have never been married, but I have been engaged and been through a couple relationships where I thought I was with 'the one' and people do change over time.

Does it necessarily have to do with getting married? I dont know but I know my friends that have been with their girls for 5+ and lived with them for a good portion of that have a higher success rate than rushing into it.
