I've been thinking about quitting school and joining UPS part time, along with my current job. Because in 4 years, you can become a driver, and I know for a fact they can make up to $27 an hour.

idk, we will see in 2 years though

I guess you didn't understand what I mean by support myself.
If I move out, can I fully fund my Roth IRA, contribute $6k to my 401(k)...bullshit around with options...make strategic investments...pay for school....play around with car audio...and then afford a place, then No.

Could I cut out most of that and live in an apartment, Yes.
Thats the exact reason I haven't moved out yet. Being able to blow money without thinking twice is nice.
I hate you guys. lol

I was forced to move out once I graduated High School. Paying rent every month hurts the pocket book, but I love the freedom. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i make nothing but shit working as a general mechanic at firestone lol.. but we have a small store.. people at my SAME level in des moines make 3 bucks an hour more than me, even when they just started..

You said when you compare yourself to other people, so apparently you want to amass wealth just to be better then others, so I take that as greed. If I was pulling 90k a year I wouldn't even know what to do with it. I couldn't even spend that much cash.
It's easy to say that now, but it's not that much money.

I'm happy knowing that i'll make more than $90K a year after I graduate. It will be nice knowing that i'll make $125K+ a year after grad school, but the only thing holding me back from grad school is paying $35K a year in tuition for 4 years. If your $90K "greed" wager states that I should forgo grad school and stick with my $90K a year.

90k is not toooo much, its definitely good, good enough for most anybody. I missed the whole conversation. I wont be satisfied til I have 1,000,000. Which pretty much means I wont be satisfied in this life time.

Id like to have about 150,000 in the bank and making about 8000 a month.

Yeah but I'm probably going to be moving out maybe after this next summer.

This is mind boggling. My dad made less then 50k a years and 4 of us lived comfortably on his salary. I cannot see how double that is "not that much money" Then again this is ca.com where pizza delivery drivers make $18 an hour plus tips, and lawn mowers make $2500 a week.

so are you, more than me.

Maybe if I posted my leave and earnings statement, shaun would understand.
LESs are whack b.

If I ever go on my killing spree, I'll be more memorable then you making over 100k. People will remember you for who you are, not how much you make. If you have to over compensate your self-esteem by generating money to have power, then that's too bad I guess.
The per capita income for Michigan is roughly 23k, and is top 20, so making over 4 times that is not good money? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I guess I really failed at life since I don't aspire to make enough cash to buy respect, or lack the testicular fortitude to want to have "power"
you will not be more memorable if you go on a killing spree I think there was a shooting like a few weeks ago, shooting in the mall. Barely remember him. Sure youll be remembered by his family, but noone else will care. Nowadays theyll just say "oh, someone else went postal" just a generic copycat.
