Called a Sno-Bob and is basically a bike frame with ski's on the bottom.. fcuking thing is faster than shit.. tech at work brought it into work and we took it on our lunch break..

Rusty framerails = ftl

Rusty shock tower = easy to replace

That is one of the major reasons why I chose not to continue with the V8 conversion. It would have broke the car, I believe due to torque.

I was about to say I didn't take you for a spooky. Yeah the shock tower is no big deal as long as you can find one,as far the rust frame rails I would clean up the rust then box rail with some heavy gauge steel and it should be as strong if not stronger than new. And do the v8 swap...now.

Yea the big 3 automakers do, but GM, Ford and Chrysler are closing plants, sending jobs overseas, and GM just offered buyouts to over 3000 employees just to get rid of them. They aren't hiring. Your parts suppliers like Lear that supply the Big 3, only make $10-15 an hour, but they aren't hiring either. I was just down there and all the small factories were closed with for sale signs in front of them. The days of going from high school to the factory are over.

No V8 for me.....just too much trouble that I am not willing to do.
My goal is to get 30 mpg with 40 year old technology.

30mpg x 22 gallon tank = 1 fillup every other week

22 * 2.79 = $61.38 -- ftl

But it is still cheaper than my truck of $200/month
