Same here, except I work in a computer room, pretty much doing nothing. Pull 2 double shifts on the weekends so no work during the week for school.

I like the current I6.Next step is the 5 speed.

Then I am going to try to go fuel injected in I can't get to 30 mpg no other way.

I'm still knocking out pre-reqs for my engineering degree. I'm set on Electrical Engineering, but because I have finish up Calc II and III this and next semester, and another Chemistry and couple Physics, I can still switch to another discipline if I choose. Financial Analyst. It is unrewarding. But it is nice and safe and all. I will end up topping out at ~$90k if I stick around for 15 more years or so. It's good money but not great money.

I don't even know why I'm wanting to move to Detroit. All my old friends down there don't talk to me anymore, and the family I have there hates me. I was thinking Minneapolis but **** dealing with family, I may go to some random city in the south.

You should move to Green Bay so you can watch the Packers play all the time.

I live in Northern Michigan and the Packers are the team of choice here. besides Detroit has the Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings.

I guess you didn't understand what I mean by support myself.
If I move out, can I fully fund my Roth IRA, contribute $6k to my 401(k)...bullshit around with options...make strategic investments...pay for school....play around with car audio...and then afford a place, then No.

Could I cut out most of that and live in an apartment, Yes.

Thats the exact reason I haven't moved out yet. Being able to blow money without thinking twice is nice.
