I guess my factory job isn't that bad, making over $15 an hour trimming plastic parts, while I go to college.
Same here, except I work in a computer room, pretty much doing nothing. Pull 2 double shifts on the weekends so no work during the week for school.I guess my factory job isn't that bad, making over $15 an hour trimming plastic parts, while I go to college.

Dang, in July I'm hoping for a 1.50 raise, which would only bring me up to $16.80 an hour....you bastard! lolI make $17/hr now...will make 21 in April. But I rather dislike my job.
I'm still knocking out pre-reqs for my engineering degree. I'm set on Electrical Engineering, but because I have finish up Calc II and III this and next semester, and another Chemistry and couple Physics, I can still switch to another discipline if I choose. It is much easier for me to understand fuel injection than carbs, call me strange.Financial Analyst. It is unrewarding. But it is nice and safe and all. I will end up topping out at ~$90k if I stick around for 15 more years or so. It's good money but not great money.
technology I understand FTW
You should move to Green Bay so you can watch the Packers play all the time.I don't even know why I'm wanting to move to Detroit. All my old friends down there don't talk to me anymore, and the family I have there hates me. I was thinking Minneapolis but **** dealing with family, I may go to some random city in the south.
Try and work at one of those stadiums, I'm sure they need help somewhere inside.I live in Northern Michigan and the Packers are the team of choice here. besides Detroit has the Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings.
Sorry to inform you about your lose this Sunday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifBears FTW
Thats the exact reason I haven't moved out yet. Being able to blow money without thinking twice is nice.I guess you didn't understand what I mean by support myself.
If I move out, can I fully fund my Roth IRA, contribute $6k to my 401(k)...bullshit around with options...make strategic investments...pay for school....play around with car audio...and then afford a place, then No.
Could I cut out most of that and live in an apartment, Yes.
