Can't see the pics but I love cars with switches. There is just something about a car doing a standing 3 wheel....
:yum:
Nope not at all. THat same set has been on two caddys just like that. No abnormal wear. Hitting 3 wheel wears down the side wall as you can see. (right above the whitewall is another white wall of wear)Okay - since you have direct knowledge of someone who has done that - when you sit a heavy-*** car like that 'Lac on some tires much smaller than GM ever intended on that Caddy to roll on day-to-day, does it make the car eat up tires much faster than normal?Like - if he were to buy a set of 13" tires that are rated for like 35K miles....would they be getting bald around 15K or 20K miles assuming he didn't hit his switches often or anything else that would affect tire wear abnormally?
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/word.gif.64b12e39f936af3b4fff38a1c0bd0244.gif on the reasons. They use 13s for a couple reasons
1) You can get higher (bouncing)
2) You can get lower
3) They are cheap. Bouncing 20 - 90" off the ground beats the shit of out rims.
I have smaller wheels on my truck than GM intended....No tire problems yet, but I don't have an adjustable suspension, just a lowered one
Do it, put some 13s on there.Alrighty then.Maybe I need to get some hydros on Gossamer then sit it on some 12" Metro rims :laughs:
Geo trackers used to be the hydro vehicle. Small and light. 4 pump set up use to get the whole car off the ground a couple feet.I have seen switches on a Neon.
If you can dream it, you can build it.
Yes. My dad used to have a Metro and we were talking about it the other day after I was telling him I am thinking of lowering my truck another inch.
An end!!!!!!My dad doesn't modify much either.Well, he added a trailer hitch to his minivan to haul his 4-wheeler back and forth from the house to the deer lease.
A Honda towing another Honda...what's the world coming to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
I like lowrider magazine even though it is more directed at this hispanic community.....
Awwww, you missed my videos fromt he last show. I think 5 trucks and cars flipped over and 3 caught fire. A few years back they started seeing who could flip their vehicle the fastest haha. They can do it in one hop now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gifI got a picture of a monte carlo that was roofed during a dance. It was teh shit. I never seen a car roll all the way over.
I wonder if GM engineers thought "We better make these pillars extra sturdy, I have a feeling some kids will put switches on them and roll them the fuck over"...
