eh, when im installing. I pretty much keep to myself. your crankyness would have to be better than my boss coming back every 10 min asking me if I am done yet, and if I knew what I was doing...

Nope...I have no clue what im doing, I just get paid to sit here and drool on myself while these wires magically dance into place.

Thats not only disgusting, but depressing. To hell with the parents, think of the kids. I hate hearing crap like that...

Worst part is, we can't do anything...

The guy mentioned calling the cops and I asked him how he felt about getting written up.

Here's what would happen. The guy would call and complain that we told on him. Then the store would recieve a negative mark. The store manager would have to explain to the district manager why we told on the guy and how he disciplined us for getting in the affairs of others. Enough of these marks and he would lose his bonus.

Which is the primary reason we do nothing when people fight (usually it's a man hitting a woman). You can't say anything but most of the times another customer will step in. I usually give a discount to those customers that break up the fights/arguments)

I completely forgot you worked at Lowes.
I wanted to work there...but they didn't hire me. Maybe because I really didn't want to work there...something about driving 1 hour to work didn't sit with me to well :shrug:

I really enjoy working there. I told several of my usual customers that I was leaving and some others heard I was leaving. It was really cool that customers said they are sorry to see you leave. They don't have any obligation to do so.

They say I go above or beyond...but really most people get standard service. I guess my standard is higher than others. It really doesn't take that much effort.

I want to enjoy life some.

I worked 2 jobs throughout school and 2 jobs now. I want to take some risks.

I want to try to compete some.

I want to learn how to fish.

I want to know what happens out there when I am not in a cubicle or in a 140k sq foot box.

Those kinds of things. Hard to meet women when you can't go on dates.

I spent a lot of my "prime" working and no memories to show for it. It's all a blur.

Concerts can be win or lose situations...

Sometimes bands give GREAT live performances...and then again there are those that are studio queens, and they only sound good after hours of digital enhancement and mastering.

This happens occasionally. I've never had it happen, at least for the band that I CAME to see... sometimes the other bands or openers sucked live.
