No clue, then again how many general consumers will use it and even then how many will notice that small underlap in the midbass? I/we would, but generally speaking..
I sell 99% Eclipse HUs and have never had a reception problem for AM or FM from any clients. Not to say it does or doesnt exist, just never once had a complaint from it...

I never use FM or AM. I probly wouldnt notice the difference, on most songs.

You know I do the good thing and don't under cut B&M shops (being that I work for a shop, it would kinda like me shorting myself buying online/unauthorized)and go to an authorized dealer for premier to order my 880...and guess what.

They order it, and tell me it should be in anyday now. and that was a week ago. So today I figure I will test them out. I call and inquire about my order...again they say its been ordered and they dont know anything about the status. So later on today on my break I call the same shop and pretend to be another customer and ask for an 880...and low and behold this is what I hear...

"oh they are on backorder...we can't even fill the order that we have on them for another customer"

needless to say I will go to the shop tomorrow, and ask them why they didn't inform ME that it was on backorder...I needed this unit 3 days ago, and I returned a unit (display model and was scared that newbz had fawked it up)from Audio/Tint Concepts accross from The audio Edge. In favor of buying a new one.

I hate going to best buy with no clue of what I am asking for. Those people act like punks because I can get laid and they cannot. They also respond with some sort of smartass answer.

would be a losing battle...me and alpineinstaller (you sold him rainbow cal 27 IIRC) have worked at that shop off and on for about 2.5 years now. and nothing has changed. If we aren't there every waking out of the day he would have masses of Audiobahn old stock, low end sony, Power Acoustik, and other less than stelllar brands.
We carry a lot of brands, he is just to cheap to keep anything in stock.

Though it is funny when the customers want to "hear" what kind of work we do, and they get to sit in my truck or blake(alpineinstaller)'s car...and then they wonder why their JVC door speakers and kicker comps dont sound quite as good...and then the bossman has to explain to them why there is a difference.

You would figure he would stop asking us to demo our vehicles...that and I despise doing it anyway...don't want all these h00d ninja's sitting in my truck...but oh well.

Worst part is, we can't do anything...
The guy mentioned calling the cops and I asked him how he felt about getting written up.

Here's what would happen. The guy would call and complain that we told on him. Then the store would recieve a negative mark. The store manager would have to explain to the district manager why we told on the guy and how he disciplined us for getting in the affairs of others. Enough of these marks and he would lose his bonus.

Which is the primary reason we do nothing when people fight (usually it's a man hitting a woman). You can't say anything but most of the times another customer will step in. I usually give a discount to those customers that break up the fights/arguments)

She had told me long before it ever got to that stage that should it ever get to that stage that she wanted to be an integral part of the ring-choosing process since her taste in rings doesn't normally coincide with mine.

So it ended up being something like

"Hey - wanna get married?"

"Are you serious?!"

"Yes."

"Of course I'll marry you!!"

"Okay - tomorrow we'll go ring shopping. "

"Yippee!!"

The surprise bit came into play from she and I having communicated via online and over the phone for around 15 months at that stage but it was our first experience seeing each other face-to-face during my trip over there in 2001.

I had been there for exactly 13 days when I asked her to marry me.

She was pretty surprised...
